Tracer Sportfishing Is Ready for the 2008 Season!!!

 Thanks to all of you who fished with us in 2007. While ’07 was not the banner year we all hoped for, the number of albacore we saw during the 2007 season was amazing.

Overall, the Tracer had plenty of fine fishing throughout the season as you can see from our 2007 fish count:

394 anglers fishing 61 total days caught….

1512 albacore
237 yellowtail
35 yellowfin tuna
5 bluefin tuna
1 dorado

….that is a 4.9 fish-per-rod average!

These numbers would have been much higher if we could take credit for the number of albacore we saw!!!

 We’re ready to go for 2008. The boat is in great shape, and trips are booking fast.

For those of you interested in our ultra-limited load trips, we are adding a few more to our 2008 schedule. There are less expensive trips out there, but these ultra-limited load trips are put together for the discriminating fisherman who is serious about catching fish.  An ultra-limited load charter is also a good way to introduce a child to sport fishing for the first time. We all know how intimidating a big boat with 30+ aggressive fishermen can be on a kid!!

All ultra-limited load trips are limited to 10 passengers, so there are no crowds!  This is a great way to check out San Diego charter boat fishing at it’s best.
